Evening Cruise

This year’s outing will be an evening cruise from Poole Quay up the river to Wareham where we will have about an hour ashore before returning and having a fish-and-chip supper on board. The date for this trip is Wednesday 16th July (not a Tuesday as is usual).

Members should be at the Brownsea Island Ferries quayside berth (Poole Quay) by 6.30pm in time for a 6.45pm departure. Arrival at Wareham will be around 8.00pm and the fish-and-chips will be delivered to the boat at 8.45pm ready for a return departure at 9.00pm. It is hoped to be back at Poole Quay by 10.15pm.

The cost is £11.50 for the boat trip plus £4.50 if you wish to have fish-and-chips. As there is no bar on board members can take what drinks they may require.

Applications for tickets should be sent no later than 5th July to the Social Secretary, Keith Garner, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
